Accepting these terms

By using this site or messaging us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

What this service is

iboga.africa is operated by Owlkashi LLC. We vet a small number of independent ibogaine treatment providers in South Africa, refer people to them, and wrap that referral with preparation beforehand and integration afterwards.

We're not a clinic. We don't administer medicine, we don't diagnose, we don't treat, and we don't supervise anyone's care. The provider you're referred to is a separate business operating under its own licence and its own physician. We aren't in the room.

Independence

We take no commission, referral fee or any other payment from any provider we refer to. You pay us for preparation and integration. Providers pay us nothing. If that ever changes, we'll say so here and on the site before it takes effect.

This isn't medical advice

Nothing on this site or in any conversation with us is medical advice, and none of it is a substitute for a qualified clinician who's examined you. Ibogaine carries cardiac risk and isn't suitable for everyone. Talk to your own doctor before you make any decision about treatment, and don't stop or change a prescription because of something you read here.

We make no claim about what treatment will or won't do for you. We don't publish outcome rates and we don't collect testimonials.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to use this site or to apply. Screening may find that a referral isn't appropriate for you, and if it does we'll tell you and we won't refer you. A provider can also read your file and decline, and we don't overrule that.

SMS and communication consent

When you submit your phone number, you're consenting to receive a one-time welcome text from iboga.africa at the number you gave us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We don't send recurring messages and we don't send marketing messages without your prior consent.

The same applies to WhatsApp. You start the conversation, and you can end it whenever you want. How we handle what you send is covered in our privacy policy.

Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information, particularly about your health and your medication. Screening only works if what we're reading is true. Withholding or misstating something material can make a referral unsafe, and it's the one thing we can't check for you.

Intellectual property

The writing, design and materials on this site belong to Owlkashi LLC. You're welcome to read them, quote them with attribution, and send them to someone who needs them. You can't republish them wholesale as your own.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Owlkashi LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site, and isn't liable for the acts or omissions of any independent provider. Those providers are responsible for the care they deliver.

No warranties

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we don't warrant that everything on it is complete or error-free, and we don't warrant uninterrupted availability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
